Friends from out of the blue!

There are times in your life when you find people through hitherto unavailable channels. From those bylanes of life where you would never have expected to find a helping hand, let alone a warm shoulder, you discover pillars of solidarity. From obscure entities these people become part of your routines through hitherto insipid communication channels. From the quagmires of all and sundry, you find someone who shares your passions, who appreciates your endeavours and who basks in the compliments you shower on. And the beauty of all this is that you are never expecting such tractions.

Such has been my interaction in the past few days with an unseen friend and a relatively seen friend. Here are two people, who out of the blue, have come to become an indispensable, basal part of my inner circle. Two people, who in their own right, are equally gifted in whatever they do and who have been indefatigable in their support and appreciation of my abilities. Two people who deliver what they promise. Two people who defy all axioms of friendship. Two people, who are faceless to my individuality, yet have deep imprints on my persona. Of the two, M is relentless in her appreciation and in true terms is one person who I'm a fan of and who in turn is my fan. A consummate and impeccably dignified friend, a wee bit modest perhaps, but amongst the best no doubt. The strangest part is that there is nothing more than a passion we three share with parallel jest and enthusiasm, a craft we strive to excel and a craft where we constantly seek excellence, which binds us. And there is nothing more they know about me or I know about them. Yet, the spark glows like embers. It's magical!

The moral of the story is that friendship is a relationship which knows no boundaries. Unlike true love, you can find a true friend without looking for. There is no channel needed for friendship to incarnate and neither for it to substantially exist. Somethings are designed to be the way they are and it's God's own sweet ways.
